Carnac offers more touristic attractions, while Quiberon is renowned for watersport, regularly hosting surfing competitions. For untainted, natural beaches, look to Plage de Kervillen or Plage du Men near La Trinite sur Mer.
There are a couple of quaint local bars in Saint-Barthelemy and Melrand, as well as a restaurant and authentic Breton creperie in Melrand. In Baud, there are a variety of restaurants offering everything from traditional French cuisine to crepes to Italian.
